The 2003 International Rexx Symposium will return to the Research Triangle Park May 4th - May 7th, 2003. The Symposium is the only technical conference dedicated to the Rexx family of programming languages, drawing speakers and attendees from around the world.

On Sunday, May 4th, 2003 the RexxLA will provide informal tutorials, followed by a reception. Symposium packets can be picked up and late registrations can be completed any time during the tutorials and reception.

The technical program will feature topics that range from application development to issues associated with the implementation of Rexx interpreters. User and vendor presentations will describe new or enhanced programming techniques, application interfaces, product offerings, and novel solutions to real-world problems. The full range of Rexx platforms/environments will be represented.


Symposium Presentations are Solicited

Presentations in the following topic areas are of particular interest:

Presentations are requested at all audience levels: introductory, tutorial, practitioner, and research.

Abstracts for proposed presentations should be submitted to the vicepresident@rexxla.org for consideration. Submissions should include title, speaker name (with brief bio), intended audience level, an abstract not to exceed 500 words, and A/V requirements. An LCD data projector, an overhead projector, and an outside voice-grade telephone line will be available.

Abstracts must be received by Monday, March 31st, 2003.

Speakers will be notified of acceptance via email by Friday, April 4th, 2003.

Sessions are generally one hour but alternative durations can be accommodated. Speakers should allow ample time for demonstrations and questions.
