The 2010 International Rexx Symposium is coinciding with a new release of the ooRexx product. This Symposium is a small scale event that enables the core of RexxLA - and you can be part of that! - to gather and discuss developments around the Rexx Family of languages. Presentations will include an update on the NetRexx open sourcing process, a discussion of the changes in the new ooRexx interpreter, Systems Rexx for z/OS, and more. The Language Architecture Board for the NetRexx Language will be formally established during this symposium.

Due to the timing in the year, there will no symposium fee that will include automatic membership for a year. The symposium is open for all RexxLA members; non-members will have an opportunity to register for membership at the start of the symposium. Lodging is a responsibility of the participants; refreshments during the symposium will be sponsored by ICU IT and I-Bizz IT Services and Consultancy. This symposium will not have the traditional banquet, but there will be abundant opportunity to dine, drink, and discuss everything Rexx.
